Hello, my wife car has a problem I am trying to fix. Okay whenever I start the car with ac on the driver side fan is on . If I turn off the ac the fan turns off and the passenger side fan (condenser fan ) I am guessing never turns on. I have checked the fuses which are good. Condenser fan plug is getting power. Relays I am guessing are good. I am confused why the driver side fan only comes on when the ac is only on if it's the main radiator fan?

Changed out the thermostat switch and still no fan turns on unless I turn on the ac! And it's the driver side fan that turns on.

Welcome to the forum. Check to see if you have power to the fan. If not work back wards. If there is power to the fan after the car is in operation range. It may the DC motor inoperative.

Verified the condenser fan wasn't good . So I just installed a new one and both fans only work when the air conditioning is on. Also noted the compressor clutch isn't working. I am confused why the radiator fan isn't coming on when the ac is off. I let the temperature gauge go almost half way and nothing. Any ideas?

Radiator fan gets power from the thermoste. Do you allow the water temp
To get hot enough for the fan to turn on its own. Due to both fans operate with aircondition on the motors are good. Only leaves the hot water thermostats.
