Just wondering if anyone has put a Mugen Style Spoiler on a 2009 Honda Civic Coupe? I tried searching for one but had no luck. Is it because it wont fit? I was looking at some aftermarket ones. Or is it just a no no to put on? Thanks all!

 

welcome to the forum. only spoiler I have put on were factory made for the car. it makes the car look good, does not help the car much. most factory spoilers make the rear lighter, not much down force to hold the tail down. after market if put on correctly are mostly adjustable so at higher speeds, the back will squat a bit for better traction, but this also creates drag. so unless you are doing a lot of racing on oval tracks at 100 mph a spoiler is usually for looks. Example the 69/70 super bird/chargers, the wing did not take effect until 60mph. and at 100mph, it handled great to better. but it was a big wing. I do laugh every time I see a aftermarket wing on a car that makes a lot of noise and goes no where. only attracts the attention of the police or hwy patrol. especially if its a HONDA.
