Default 2010 honda civic tachometer question

I just bought a brand new honda civic (2010), and i'm noticing something that I never noticed on my 94 honda civic. I was going slightly uphill, and noticed that my tachometer was on 2 1/2 (for a couple seconds) even after I took my foot off the gas. And then were times when i was going downhill and (i think) i either stepped on the gas and the tachometer actually went down (or i think it was when I stepped on the break and the tachometer went up) - one of these two, i can't remember. Anyone else experienced this?

welcome to the forum. I did on a 02 civic but it only did this 3 times in 60k, so I left it alone, no problem since. document what is going on with your car and at what milage date and time how long the car was driven for the day. when you take it in for service, advise the service agent and make sure it is written down so you will be covered if this happens in the future. This might be a glitch or a connector plug loose, wire loose, or anything with the system. when you take the car in for service do not give a I think answer, show them a copy of what happened and be positive, I know this happened.
