Default 60,000 mile maintenance 2004

Just trying to get a feel for what I should expect to pay and have done for the 60,000 mile maintenance. Also want to knwo so I don't get jerked around and talked into things I don't need leaving me broke for Christmas[:@] Or should I say MORE broke ... But it needs to be done as I am taking a trip for both Thanksgiving and Christmas and I don't want any problems. Please let me know any info as to what price I should be looking at. I also am wondering if I should take it to a Tires Plus type of store or a Honda dealership.

Any info is appreciated. Looking to do it this weekend or next.

welcome to the forum. If you have a 100k warranty, it is done at the dealership, unless you have a place that does all the checks and gives you paperwork to cover the warranty. If you have no warranty, work is done at your choice. If you go on line you can find what items are covered under the 60k mile check. My 02 civic costs about 245.00 for the 30k, 60k, 90k checks. I replace my own filter from Kragen/AutoZone/PepBoys/ any parts place, easy to do. The hepa air conditon cabin filters, I have the dealer change for me.I do some of the simple work.
My mom had most of her civic work done at jeffy luble, each 3k miles after the 1st oil change at the dealership. She kept records and oil and filter each 3k miles and intake filter as needed. Other Items, done by a shell maintenace center.

Thank you! No, I no longer have a warranty. I have pretty much decided that I am going to have my brother in law do the work for me. He takes care of his and my sisters car and that is his job so he knows what he is doing. The Honda dealership wanted $400. I think that is a lot for fluids and filter changes. Just want to make sure I do all that is recommended , guess I can probably find it in my manual as well... thank you for the info on prices. I will expect around $200-$300. That is more reasonable than $400+ tax. *ouch*
