the vehicle was bought used about a year ago
I just replace the fuel pump checked all the fuses check the battery and voltage the car will start then when I make a sudden stop it will shut off and will not turn back on I let it sit for about a day and then try to start it and it started but then shut off again when I suddenly stopped. also the vehicle has gas I check the carburetor and it appears clean and I replace the air filter any ideas what it could be?

 

there are three major concerns when it comes to engines fuel,air,spark i know thats a vague description but given the amount that we can diagnose over the internet im sure you can find the problem. maybe find the fult codes if any that were given then get back to us. im sory thats the only discription i can give but this platform only allows me this much.
