i'll be backing out of my driveway, get to the end of it, go to clutch in and roll free onto road and the car will stop hard. like I just slammed on the brakes and pulled the parking brake. this is extremely annoying. I actually have skid marks in my driveway from this happening.

 

Are you still rolling when you let the clutch out?

 

If you have drum brakes on the back, check to see if the springs and parts are not broken inside. Sounds like the back up brake drum locks up.
