Default Brake Problem

Ok. My brake lights dont work at all. but the filiment for the lights that come on with the headlights work fine. ive replaced the pedal switch. But when i go to the plug behind the driver side panel , one of the wires which i assume is the brake line, it is only reading arount 3.5 volts. Any ideas?

welcome to the forum. the filiment for the lights that come on with the headlights works fine and how about the 2nd filiment that come on with the brakes depress. Also check to make sure you have a good ground. This can cause a no light.
