Default Buy old or new

So I want to buy a Civic.. Automatic, EX... Do I buy a 2013 or old one. I was looking at the 5 yr cost to own and was sickened by how much it actually costs.. 2008 5 yr to own is 33147 and 2013 i think estimated was 41000 which ends up being, after all is said and done, 700+ a month.. yikes! any suggestions.. thats based on 15000 miles a year, and i think i will be driving about 25000+. Any help appreciated. New vs old, different model?

go with what you can afford there's no point in digging yourself a financial hole just because you want the new model. you could even find an older model like 06 since the 06-10 are basically the same thing. why even finance when you could get a used civic for $5,000-$6,000.

It all depends on you, how much you can spend? what is your budget? So do that is best for you if u go for new one that's good but even if you go for the old one then there is also no need to worry. You can find better old model also or upgrading some parts of old car you can make it function like new one.

I think old is gold. But in the technology the latest technology is the best. But you should at the same time should check your budget and plan according to that. If you feel that you can purchase latest model then Go for it. Best of luck
