Yeah, I did think about that. I can keep it in my garage when it's not in use to reduce exposure, but if I'm driving in the rain wouldn't the engine temperature evaporate most of the rain that gets in the vents (since it would only collect when I'm stopped at lights/ect)?

I'll probably keep the stock hood on when it's winter so I don't ever have to worry about snow.

unless your constantly doing 65 then water is getting in where its going to go is anybody's guess ? as for winter you should always remove carbon fiber hoods in the winter the constant heating then cooling to freezing temperatures will make the hood brittle. also never use carnauba wax only synthetic or boat wax.

I agree,the CAI on my vettes took about three months to adjust,but i dont drive them often. As stated stay away from K&N ,not a good choice.
