Default Cheapest insurance for a Honda Civic?

I just bought a '10 Honda Civic from a friend

It's still sitting in my drive way undriven as I've yet to get insurance for the thing

Who do you guys recommend? I've already gotten quotes from all the big companies like GEICO, Progressive, Allstate, etc. I'm looking for under-the-radar companies who offer the absolute CHEAPEST rates.

I basically want to be able to legally drive this car with the cheapest possible insurance. I think insurance is a scam and I don't like throwing my money away every month.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately, those two companies are not offered in my area. I think they only do business in the south?

I'm in the northeast (NY). I've been getting quotes from as many different places as possible. I'll report back with the cheapest.

Update - I was able to get a rate from http://www.4autoinsurancequote.com/ for $55/month. This appears to be the cheapest quote I can find so far. http://www.arbella.com quoted me at $59/month as well.

Both appear to be good options, so I will probably choose from one of those.

Rates are calculated by age, driving record, location and the value of the vehicle. We have GEICO,works for us.
