The mother in law just bought a new civic. She's in hersixties and after two weeks she can't stand... er.., sit in the car anymore. It is so uncomfortable that shecan't even drive it anymore.

Anyone out there know more about the seats? Are there any aftermarket seats out there?

Aloha Bombardier, welcome to the forum, My mom bought a 07 in Jan, I do agree with your mom, the seat is a bit uncomfortable at first. I did get use to it after a few drives, but difficult, it feels like a performace seat.
Perhaps since the seat is new, ask Honda if hey might have a more comfortable seat to change out to or may look for an after market seat to install for more comfort.
