Default D-Series Upgrades

I was just wondering if anybody knew any uncostly upgrades to do to a D-series un vtec motor to get a noticeabledifference in low end power..

Hey Did you ever get the fix on the 97? for more power long intake, exhaust headers to flow through cat ( no baffle ) to can type muffler. Crank pully change to aluminum, then turbo if money permits.Exhaust pipe to 2-2 1/2 in dia. is good. if you have a smog ck like ca. does, caution on no baffle cat.

ya i've basically done all of that but the turbo and its a huge difference!
