I have a 92 Honda civic with the P06 ecu. Changed to avtec head with the pP28 ecu. Tried to wire in the the VTEC solenoid into the D6 pin but on the wire harness there is already a wire there. Question is when I wire in the solenoid, do I completely remove the original wire from the plug or can I splice into that wire with solenoid wire?

 

Trace the existing wire. Where does it go? If it just drops off just solder the wire from the solenoid onto the end of the wire from the ecu.
