Okay so I've been working on getting my 94 Civic running, but I just figured out that the engine inside belongs to a 89 CRX (or so I believe). I called 3 smog shops and 2 of them told me I'd have to schedule a meeting with a ref and have them give it the okay before they'll pass it. I feel like that 's going to take too long and it's out of the way. I don't have nearly enough money/time to just buy an engine. So I'd rather just pay off some smog tech. What do you guys think? I just want to get this over with and paying someone seems like the best way.
