my whole instrument panel is dark. i cannot see my gauges at night but all other lights work. there is nuthin wrong with the fuses but i suspect a problem with the electrical computer board that connects all the lights. im having a problem locating this part mainly because i cannot find a name or product number for this part. if ne1 has ne advice or can help me in ne way please do it will be much appreciated! thanks by the way its an 84 civic 1500s

 

welcome to the forum, have you taken your instrument cluster out to check the back side for proper connection or if the light bulbs need replacing or if there is any damage to the cluster circuit

 

yes i have and i actually replaced it with an 83 instead of and 84 but the connections are the same and it worked, but i have a stick and the 83 dash doesnt have a tac and i also want to see how many miles i got one it. the back looks fine but there is one spot where the wire is covered in sumthin and i think it might be breaking the circuit, the only problem is i cant find the circuit. it has been discontiuned at the dealer and there rnt ne 84 in ne junkyards close. can i order it online somehow? and wat is the name for the circuit board or paper?
