I'm thinking about using my tax return to get me a stage 2 or 3 clutch kit for my 2000 civic si. which one should i get and what would be the best brand for hp gains if any and for quality?

 

noone have any idea which kits are best for the civic?

 

if you want to spend some money, go with ACT, i put one in my 94 civic and its tons better.

 

I actually purchased an ACT clutch and flywheel. it's supposed to add 10-30 hp but i haven't put it in yet. i'll update as to how it works with my 2000 civic si.

 

nice, how manypound flywheel did u get?, i got a 7pound flywheel, it didnt do much top end, but low end it made it a lot more snappy

 

I purchased the 12.5 pound flywheel. it's better for my needs since i'm fixing up my daily driver. plus it doesn't make the exhaust sound like bolts rattling around in the transmission. i'd sacrifice a few horsepower just to have a good sound. there are too many ricers out there that sound like weedeaters on steroids haha

 

I finally put the clutch and flywheel in. I'll update as i feel the performance. The clutch is very strong. I'm loving it so far.
