hey guys, i just joined this forum. I have two questions, one do I have the B17 engine if i own a 2002 honda civic ex sohc 1.7? and if i do what is the best route to go to make this car faster?

Your 02 civic ex has a D17a2 ( wikipedia ) 127 hp at 6300 rpm. vtec-e.put on long intake, change exhaust to headers, clear flow cat, can muffler, and 2-2 1/2 in exhaust pipes. Aluminum crank pully, then turbo if money is available.
