ls/vtec please help
ok i bought a 93 integra with a ls/vtec motor the car runs ok but when driving and ready to hit vtec CEL comes on code 23 knock sensor.I also noticed that it has a ls intake manifold on it i want to get this can running right any help would be GREAT. THANKS ALOT

What kind of gas are you using? I would be running at least 89 octane in just about any Honda. Also if your oil level is low achieving VTEC becomes difficult for the car since it relies on oil pressure to engage the solenoid. Shoot maybe the solenoid is all gummed up amongst other things. I would even check out that knock sensor.
