well i got this 97 civic i really want to throw down a magna flow but i dont really have much info on it can some one help out??

 

Welcome to the forum,Here is some info:MagnaFlow performance exhausts are 100% stainless steel and lap-joint welded for solid construction and rugged reliability even in the most extreme conditions. The mufflers used in each MagnaFlow exhaust system feature a free-flowing, straight-through perforated stainless steel core, stainless mesh wrap, and acoustical fiber fill to deliver that smooth, deep tone. MagnaFlow mufflers outflow OEM chamber style mufflers by as much as 167%. In addition to this, MagnaFlow mufflers are packed tight with this acoustical material to ensure long life and no sound degradation over time.
I would consider looking at other systems because of the cost with magna flow,I have seen cat back Titanium exhaust go for $189 as opposed to $450 for Magna flow. Check around you may be surprised what you find.

 

I say any exaust that doesn't make your ride sound like a dirt bike or outboard motor is good!

 

The new exhaust systems they have out now when added to a cold air intake do boost gas milage.I'm with you can't stand the loud mufflers.
