Default Manual Transmission Intermittent Problem

I'm having an issue with the clutching system connected to the 6 speed manual transmission in my 2012 Civic si. The problem is intermittent and involves getting the transmission into 1st and/or reverse but so far I have been able to engage those gears by killing the engine then restarting. I have changed the trans fluid with Honda brand fluid and have bled the slave cylinder a couple times. After bleeding the slave cylinder the issue seems to resolve but after a few days the problem returns. I see no signs of leakage and the reservoir is always full of fluid. Seems to me the issue is hydraulic but I'm not sure if it is with the slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, or possibly another component. I would like to hear from those of you who have experienced this or know a thing or two about it and gain some insight for myself on where the problem lies. Thanks!!!

I think I'm going to start with the easy components before I remove the transmission. I know it's probably not the norm but I think my slave cylinder might be failing without leaking.
