Hello Everybody,

I have a 2006 Civic EX that I am need to SMOG check for California. I got the error codes and did the repairs, but need to figure out if there is a way to clear the error code in the ECM. I did disconnect the battery and the check engine light went off, but I wanted to see if there is anything else I need to do.

welcome to the forum. if you now have no engine light, after several starts, it should be clear. to clear the emc, may need the tool for it, or ammco may do it for no charge. auto zone was doing it for a while to clear engine light.
