Question Need to know if my Civic requires a visit.....

to a shop. I leased a new Honda Civic in 2009 (DXG model). I was getting some really good fuel economy for next two years (700 kms or 7L/100 KM). All oil changes are done regularly and Honda does servicing on any issues that come up. Forward to 2014, I noticed the car is only giving me around 400-450 km (highway+ street) before I have to fill up the tank again. The engine has 110,000 kms on it. Just wondering what mileage you guys get out of your Civics.

I have a few civics and some with heavy mods some stock. As the engines get older the mileage goes down a little. For the most part though they stay around the same. I have a 95 hatchback that gets 45 mpg highway. I would definitely look into getting a good tuneup on the car. That gas mileage seems very low
