Default New and questions before purchase of used 2013 Civic

Hello.
I just joined about 10 minutes ago.
I looked at and drove a great condition, low kms 2013 Civic EX.
It would be for my gf as she needs a newer vehicle.
Before i jump into this deal I am wonder how reliable they are?
Any common problem areas?
It belongs to an older lady who due to health problems is forced to stop driving.
No accidents, and regular maintenance has been done since new.
Only 22,380 kms after my test drive a couple hours ago.
Thanks.

welcome to the forum. Hondas are reliable cars, I have had the following, 90accord 260k miles. 2007 fit 250k miles 2002 civic 270k+ miles. all good, min mx other than timing belts and water pumps at the same time. resale value is also good. ex is the better of the civic line. by your name, it appears you're a pilot??

Hello.
Thanks for the reply.
Yes I am a helicopter pilot.
While I know in general that Honda makes great cars and motorcycles.
I was hoping that the 2013 Civic specifically had no big issues.
The lady turned down my offer anyway.
I am not willing to pay more than my offer.
So I am still car shopping.
