Default OBD II TO OBD I

Hey guys whats up? Im kinda the NOOB around here as they say. I have been making many mods to theengine and electrical system in my '97 civic ex and I havent been able to getany real performance change out of it.I took the motor out of the car and tore it down and I couldn't find anything wrong with it internally. Im planning on converting my car toOBD I with achipped P28 ECU and an Apexi VAFC NEO. I was wondering if there is any oneout there who has done this similar conversion and if the power gains were worth the work. I have read that converting to OBD I with a chipped P28 ECU can gain anywhere from 10-40 HP alone depending on mods and believeme I have mods. Im not worried about any of the work cause Iam an electrician and I do all my own work and Iim not worried about emissions cause I live inOklahoma and we dont care about pollution here and the car only gets driven 3-5 times a month. Any infoor tips would be nice.
