hey all im having some problems with my 01 ex. the car will go into limp mode and the check engine light comes on. if i park car for a couple hours it will run fine again for a few weeks to a couple months then do it again.
the dealership told me it was just saying that there was a misfire but didnt tell them where.
does anybody have any idea what would cause this?
the car has 188k and i use it every night to throw papers so i really need it running so im not stranded in middle of night.

welcome to the forum. Tune the car up if you have not done it. check the ecm.
