alright so I got a quick question and I figured this would be a good place to ask all the honda gurus and everythin haha. So a couple months ago I bought a 96 Civix ex 4door 5-speed and now it has thrown a rod and cracked the oil pan. Well I don't have the money to fork over for a whole new Vtec engine so I was just wondering how much would you guys sell it for? it has some minor body flaws but everything else works and runs well. it's also got a new short RAM cool air intake and HIDs. if you guys could help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

 

welcome to the forum. You can take out the Ram air, and Hids and sell it to the junk yard, or take the car apart and sell it for parts, get more money, but takes time and space. you will not get much for the car as it is perhaps 150.00 for whole car for parts only.

 

Acmech is right bodies don't bring much,sell what you can off of it,tires,rims,lights,any interior parts in good shape .if the car is in really good shape check and see if you can find a cheap motor.good luck
