Default Severe coolant system pressure

I have a 95 del sol si with 1.6 sohc vtec. Lot of problems within the past year. Rad busted and warped head. Bought a used head that wasnt the D16Z6, turned out head was a D16Y8 out of a 95 civic ex but with a 96 motor...after some minor work the engine was running good but with less mpg. had a knock later, turned out to be a rod bearing. so put rod and main bearings in it, while the motor was out, put clutch, timing belt, oil pan, front/rear main seals. engine over heated b/c of blown hose, on a trip to SC, nursed it home. Thats when i found the mismatched head. bought new gasket set, rebuilt resurfaced d16z6 head, water pump. so the only thing old in the engine is crank, rods, pistons and block. Ran great, better than ever, slight miss on hills. thot it was dirty fuel so used injector cleaner, new plugs, good cap rotor wires....bought 02 sensor to put on too. Turns out ign timing was out. adjusted it. and all of a sudden i had hard start......runs good, didnt overheat until my radiator cap fell apart, literally blew up. so found out i have excessive coolant pressure. so bad that it wont start with the radiator cap on!!! wouldnt believe it unless i saw it myself. compression is good, 120psi in all cyl. spark plugs are white even after a few hundred miles so i know its running lean. need to do cyl leak test... any ideas please help. thank you
