have a 94 civic dx no power steering. and i noticed the other day it would kind of wonder at highway speeds, i don't notice anything drivin around town. i jacked the front end up and you can grab the tire and move it side to side, thought it might be wheel bearing but if you grab the top and bottom of the tire it doesn't move. the ones i have seen on youtube they can do that can't twist outer tierods thought it might be inner tierod or rack and pinon. any info could help never had this problem on a car before thanks

 

welcome to the forum. Check your tie rods first, mine were worn also, before you change the rack and pinion. also the joints ware out (most do not have a lube point) and ball joints.
