I cracked the manifold on my 98 cx hatchback (which is appearently a common issue), and would like to replace it with a header if possible. I realise that because of the manifold-cat-downpipe design of the cx manifold, I will need to place a new cat in the b-pipe (that just sounds awkward). I am looking at a Megan Racing header, and am unsure if it will fit the smaller hatch design properly (Engine: D16y7). I don't want anything too expensive, as this is just a street car, and an automatic at that. I am mearly hoping for something slightly more efficient than the giant log of a manifold I currently have.

welcome to the forum. check with craigslist. make sure what ever you get is legal for the state.
