Default tire pressure warning

Hello All new to this forum,
We have a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid, it now has 12,000 miles on it, we bought it new, the question I have is that the tire pressure warning light comes on frequently, and we have to constantly add air to the tires there is noparticular tire it just is random, 4 times since we bought it in March. we have called the dealer and were told the problem is the thin sidewall, apparently leaks air so you must constantly keep them up, has anyone else run into this problem?

Default RE: tire pressure warning

welcome to the forum,no one to date on this forum has had any civic tire light on, Odyssey yes, no civic. But if the dealer say the car came with thin wall tires and leaks, they need to warranty the tire and get some better tires on. I have never purchased a honda civic 4 ea to date that had a thin wall leaker. Get the dealer to change them out for you. I check my tires once a month and will add a couple of pounds if any at all on my Fit. Tire pressure stays good.
