Default Transmission Identification Help

Hi, I have this transmission at my shop that came out of a civic apparently, but I’m having trouble identifying if it is a B or D series. I’m no expert with Hondas. There are no visible codes or markings on it unfortunately. Hopefully someone is a pro and can identify it by looks. Thank you!

Welcome to the forum. Check near the fill plug to see if you can find a casting nbr. With that casting nbr you may be able to ID that trans.

Hi. Thanks for the response! The only markings are on the transmission are YSK-3. From my research it seems to be a b series.... but doesn’t tell me what model (I’ll use the spinning and counting method to figure it out). It seems like it’s been repainted so there are no other visible markings. Is anyone able to confirm that YSK-3 means b series?
