I have an 05' Civic...so Far I just put a K&N Cold Air intake. I live in Houston but travel to Laredo a lot. So I was wondering what I could do to it. Nothing to waste too much gas seeing as I travel a lot.

Where does everyone go to get parts? I've been going to Advance Auto Parts and the such... and as for the rims, it came with some 17" Enkei, with actually a pretty thick tirewall. I can put the dimensions of it later. But I live in Houston, and as for light rims, I'm REALLY scared to crack them. Also, I'm a medical student soooo I'm kinda on the no $ side =P

 

check out ebay, they have a lot of good parts, also performance shops selling Honda parts. compare prices and quality. Make sure med school comes first. car mod's can be done after you get your practice or working in a hospital. Then you can afford an acura top of the line and have someone else put performance parts in for you.

 

My father wants me to get a whole new exhaust system. He thinks that's the best for me to do next. Like when ya'll decide on a part, how do you know which brand you want?

 

sometimes there are comments or posts in the forum's about a particular brand, example would be, i found out that dc type headers (chrome) cracked at the flange a lot about 2 years ago, but now the weld seems to be heavier. ( read in a forum ) Just need to do some internet research. You can purchase a whole kit for a lot less.

I am a student myself and low on $$$$, I plan on purchasing my rims from this site, they have wheel and tire packages! Depending on the size, type, brand, etc. of rims you want you can get all 4 rims with all 4 tires for under/around $1,000.

 

hey ive got a complete greddy cat back exaust system i paid over a thousand dollars if u want u can get it for bout 300.00 or so greddy makes top the line exaust. also have garret turbo kit complete kit paid 5000.00 for it i an do it and exaust for a 1000.00

 

So I'm thinking of getting a new exhaust system. I don't want it too loud. That's the last thing I want to hear at 8 in the morning. But I want it to have a little noise. Any suggestions?

 

hey if u want a good sound but not lous like a pist off buble b call me 205-478-7890 ask for jason thats me i have an 04 model well had and i kept the exaust and turbo kit i have aold the turbo but still have exaust its greddy one of top of the line exaust systems it complete cat back from front to rear will bolt rite to your 01-05civics are same motors it will have a deap but not loud idle and its performance exaust so it adds a little tourch ans hp. and sounds really good goin mean sounding but not lound i pais 1000.00 i will sell for 150.00 its a steel just dont have car any more. i can send pica if like just give me shout or email. its all stainless steel the shiney metal looks good . its from front under engine back to a high flow coverter to rear muffler that u c
