Default 2003 CRV not starting

On Saturday morning my 2003 CRV with just over 107,000 miles would not start. I do not drive daily but the last time it was driven was Thursday eve. It would turned over but that is it only turne over, I felt by the sound of it that the battery was the fault. When I pulled the battery I noticed it was a Honda battery so I assume it was the original (I purchased the CRV used with 77,000 miles). Today I finally had time to put the new battery in and again it would only turn over only this better with a new battery. I knew the gas gauge was on so I filled with 5 gallons of gas hoping that was it but again no luck. Do any of you have any ideas I can try to solve this mystery? Thanks Terry

welcome to the forum, need to check to see if you have spark at the plugs, and fuel to the fuel rail or to injectors.

Hey guys. Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself, as I am doing now. I just read in the manual that the crv has a immobilizer system where the valet key will open doors but not start. I had switched keys on my key rings because of new house locks and I was using the valet key that looks like the real key. Dumn ***.
