2009 Honda CRV Catalytic Convertor Theft Suggestions
Hi All,
I have two Honda CRVs.....one a 2009 and the other a 2014. My next door neighbor has an identical 2009 Honda CRV and the catalytic convertor was stolen a few nights ago while it was parked on the street.. I have grainy camera footage footage that showed the theft was brazen with lights on and took less than 1 minute to complete and drive off!!! It's become an epidemic where. I live in Westchester County New York and I understand all over due to the high price of the internal metals!
I was trying to research if there are any anti theft covers for Honda CRVs and found a few but for older models. It looks like the newest generation Honda CRV are more difficult to steal because of the position of the Catalytic Convertor.
Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Bob K
