95 civic gear shift light

RE: 95 civic gear shift light
It is only a $5 light bulb, but you may have to remove the center console to get to that bulb.
I am not familiar with the civic but most of the honda's are pretty close.
Remove the upper storage compartment if you have one, remove the rug inside and lossend the screws, then look for screws under the cup holder on the side until you can remove the center console.
The gear shift ring usuals justs pulls up (clips in) tug lightly, if you feel resistance, don't snap it, probably more screws.
Once you get the center console covering off, there is usually a bulb holder on the side of the gear shift, look for the tell tale wires to the bulb.
Just pull out old bulb and replace with new one...Warning, test before putting everything back only to find you brought the only bad "new" bulb.
Good Luck!
