Looking for engine to put in my civic that will be good to turbo , that can allow me to push around 300 horse power but one that will last

 

Try an LS1 ,That will give you plenty to work with and you start out with 350 HP to start

 

welcome to the forum. I was advised a long time back that the "B" series engines are the best to mod for performance. But if you can fit an LS1, like bucwheat says, you'll have to put some wings on to keep it down on the ground.

 

Lol,I read about a young man in Va. Beach that put an ls1 engine in. Toyota,he spent close to $32,000 into it,he could purchased a used Camaro or Corvette for less than that and had money left over to mod it,now if he tried to sell it he would get book value.be careful how much you invest in a car,rarely do you get your money back.
