Default check engine light is on:

the check engine light is on on my 1999 honda accord v6, the error code says it has to do with the fuel system evaporating system, I guess there's a filter that has to be replaced some where, just don't know where or how, can anyone help.
Thanks

Well, there's 2 different codes for the EVAP system. Either one means that it's respective part of the fuel evaporative emmission system isn't airtight like it should be.

P1456 = EVAP leak - fuel tank system (includes a bad gas cap)
P1457 = EVAP leak - control canister system

These can also be triggered by bad solenoid valves (common) or leaking vacuum hoses (easy to check) or problems in the sensors that measure this system.

Start with which code you got.
