Default gauge needle

Hello all, new to this forum, I have a 1996 honda accord lx, my gauge needle is working properly, however, at night time, I can hardly see the gauge needle, does the gauge needle have some light on it to lit it up?
I turned on the light switch at night and everything seems to be working, including the indash gauge, it actually lights up. I am not sure if it is the needle or there is some interior dash lights which need replacement

thank you for all for any advices.

Default RE: gauge needle

welcome to the forum, only one I took apart was a 90 accord, it had back ground lighting to light up the guage. when we converted to white dial, it had its own wires to light up the white part, not the needle. Not sure on the 96. You will still have to pull out the cluster to work on it.
