hey just had a question....
i have a 94 civic coupe- stock d15b
i heard that headers produce more hp
but i want to know if having aftermarket
headers on ur car will or will not effect ur cars
chances of passing smog????

 

welcome to the forum. normally the gain on headers is est 15% of rated hp. if you have a ex sensor as I do on my 02 civic, I purchased a header set that has a sensor plug to install my sensor. pass smog. The smog station know most cars and where the sensors go, if anything looks out of place, they will stop the check. Do it legal and be safe.

 

that depends were you live and what the laws are i know california only allow carb legal headers like DC.
