auto zone told me that there is a short from my alternator to my battery...so i just thought id buy the cable that runs from one to the other but i dont know the name to look it up online and where are good trusty sites to buy from????

 

welcome to the forum. you can purchase the cable from auto zone, pep boys, honda dealer, anyone has good cables. what make you think the cable has a short? normally its a battery going bad or alternator .
