engine light honda element

Default engine light honda element

i have a Honda element 2007 which I love her name is Minnie she got to where she didn't wanna start which was determined to be starter we placed it, then had to replace the battery both were replaced last night today she starts right up I go 3 miles down the road the battery and engine light come on I went to advance auto they checked it said it was alternator it was replaced tonight they are still on what the heck is it now ?? im broke I cant keep replacing parts can someone tell me why they are on??

welcome to the forum. some lights need a tool to reset.

okay its seems the alternator isn't charging anyone have any suggestions??? please I need my car to get to work

Take car to where the alt was purchased and ask them to do a alt ck. They can tell if the alt is bad from stock.

you need a stock alternater hondas are very picky when it comes to them. you also could have had the stock alternater refurbished, you didn't give it to those inexperienced idiots at advanced auto did you ???
