hi i want to know if its possible to convert a non power steering into one. i own a 92 civic and my rack o pinion is bad i just wanted to know if its possible for the conversion or should i just buy a new rack o pinion.

 

welcome to the forum. It is possible to convert to a power steering system, but you still have to change the rack and pinion due to the p's has fluid to assit the rack and pinion to steer. also you will need to install the pump and hydralic lines. Get your self a service manual or go to autozone.com or hondaautomotiveparts.com and you will see all the items you will need to convert to a p/s system.
