Hi folks. Martell here. Question or suggestions. I have a fantastis 91 Accord EX which has run me well and I love this vehicle. I am sure the haed gasket is blown so upon recommendation I ordered Steel seal solution for a cheap repair knowing all the possible failures. Well, I flushed the radiator and used the Steel Seal, no help, big surprise. Still blowing white smoke from exhaust. 4 cylinder with 177,090 miles. Everything else on car is perfect and I don't want to give it up
I am trying not to replace head gasket, just can't find the time. Are there any other possible causes and or remedies????

Welcome in,are you sure it's the head gasket? do you have foam or sludge in the Radiator,white smoke and a sweet smell? Blue smoke?

 

Thanks so much . There is some white sludge at the top of radiator cap, the smoke is white and smells like exhaust just a little stronger

 

Does sound like a head gasket,be sure and have the head milled before going with a new gasket,it could be warped slightly.
