I installed a new ignition cylinder lock. My girlfriend broke the key in the ignition. I had to hotwire it to start it and ended up breaking the ignition to unlock the wheel. I installed the new ignition cylinder but I have no accessories and the car will not start or crank. I've seen online the 97 model does not have an immobilizer so I'm at a lost. What should I do to get her back on the road?
If you know how to hot wire the car then you know more than me. But, the electronics around the key or ignition says to me that it does have an immobilizer. But, that won't keep it from cranking. You must have done something to it to stop cranking.

It was hot wired when the ignition broke so I'm not sure if the the electric system to the ignition surged or something. I've connected the assumed immobilizer to the new ignition and still nothing.

Well, you said you hot wired it to start it. What did you do? Did you check the battery?
The immobilizer only really keeps the fuel pump from running.
