Boot torn on right front CV axle so replaced with O’Reily axle. 271,000 miles. I’ve put so much money in vehicle it’s ridiculous. So didn’t want to break the bank. All seemed ok for a while. It has periodically started making noises in front like axles out of whack. Can’t tell if both front or not. Left turn hear clicking which may indicate right axle? Now it acts worse if raining and wet. Also coming down hill or letting off gas it sounds like it’s going to come apart. Stop back up pull forward and it seems to reset.manual shift so if I put in neutral it seems to stop. I tried to shake axles for movement and drive shaft with no movement. No wheel movement either.

Any suggestions?
