i have a 97 coupe and just got done doing the axels but now i heard like a creaking noise every now and then when i take off or stop. o think it is my rotors cause they are a little worn. what do you think?

 

if the rotors were making a creaking noise before you changed your half shafts, then yes possible rotor. Did you use rebuilt half shafts or factory new? If rebuilts, it may be your shafts making the creaking noise. Rotors and pads normal noise is squeeky type of noise or scraping.

 

i used new axels but it wasnt making the noise before i did the axels it was only making the clicking noise which i why i changed them to begin with. i know my springs and struts are bad but it sounds like some thing need to be greased.

 

if you have run your car a few days, by now the half shafts should be quiet. Before looking at the half shafts, try lubing any rubbing part, bushings, springs, with wd-40. avoid getting any on the brake rotor or pads. there might be metal to metal or rubber bushing making that sound.

 

yea i already did that i just think its my springs and strut's i guess i will buy myself a coil over kit for xmas. do you have any idea on how to fix the dome light to light up when i open the door it only works when i move the button to on but when i set it to light when i open the door it doesnt work i read somewhere that that tends to happen when you instal a head unit but didnt tell me how to make it work again.

 

sounds like the light switch is bad. Hope you have a good back, the coil over is a hard ride, also you may have to get a camber kit to keep the front tiresfrom wearing out in 10k miles.

 

well i am going to go with the skunk 2 adjustable suspension kit i heard a few good things about this item why got anything better trying to stay in the 700 dollar range
