I own a 2005 Accord EX 4 cyl. The engine is fine, just had the oil changed, have 117,000 miles on the car but I just started getting this odd vibration. I feel it in the floor board, it really only happens when the car is in gear and I'm holding the brake, sitting at a red light for example. If im holding the brake and put the car in neutral then the vibration stops aswell as when I give it gas and start moving it all goes away. I haven't had the transmission serviced so my initial thought was that it was the transmission.

Other than this problem the car drives just fine.

Any ideas on what the problem might be?

 

check for damaged motor mounts.
