2008 Honda Odyssey

I am getting the P3497 and have tried the typical solutions:
- changed oil
- changed solenoid gasket
-changed VVT
changed oil pressure switch

each time, I reset the check engine light, but driving around 20 miles and same code comes back.

is there a way I can test the electric signals coming in/out of the VVT or oil pressure switch? Any other things that would cause this code? There are no other codes triggered.
