BF60A hesitation / bogging as try to get to full RPM (occasional)
Bought this from a friend and I got a great deal (maybe) and was willing to deal with some issues. He told me about this issue I’m experiencing.
Occasionally, when I try to get to full throttle. I experience hesitation and bogging and can’t get past 4000 RPM. If I stop and restart the engine, it clears and I can go about my way with no issues.
Seems to happen more after idling or trolling for a bit.
Today, same issue. I was accelerating and at about 4K RPM it started to hesitate. I pushed the throttle to full and it got worse.
So I switched the ignition off and back on quickly and the issue clears and the engine got to max RPM and no issues.
Could this be an ECU or electronics issue? Seems odd I can restart and everything seems fine… for a while.
He said he had it scanned and no codes. He also replaced the fuel lines. I replaced the plugs a few days ago and checked and cleaned the fuel filter.
I tried to reseat all the connectors as well.
Thoughs?
Thanks
