four stroke outboards

RE: four stroke outboards
I just purchased a Honda 115 4 stroke ( I believe they are similar )and have not done this myself but have read up on it. There are two flat head screws that are on the left side of the prop looking forward from behind OB.You will need a large flat head scew driver. The fill is above the prop and the drain is below or toward bottom of lower unit.First remove the fill screw above. This will prevent a vacuum from maintaining old fluid. The bottom one drains old fluid out so that needs to be pulled next .Drain old fluid.Afterdrained, fill but make sure you first replace drain screw(bottom)first and then put in new fluid .Then replace thefill screw(top) when fluid is at that level. The type of oil can be derived from Honda's web page. Hope this helps
